African Independence

Africa changed so much in 20 years because in 1955 there were more colonies in africa then independent countries. And in 1975 there were more independent countries then colonies in africa. For that reason i think Africa changed is because the leader changed in 1975. In Arica there were many leaders like leopold Sengal later became the first president off Senegal. Another leader was Kwame Nkrumah he was a leader of a non violent protest of people wanting freedom. A leader named patrice lumumba who wanted to divide the land .There was another leader named Mosie Tshombe.

Neolitic Revolution

Neolitic Revoloution is something that changed the way people lived from shifting hunting and gathering to just being civial. the establishment of social classes and the evntual rise of civilization. Neolitic Revolution was a major turning point in history. there was new technology and better tools so they can live better.

The Eurpean Union

The Eurpean Union is what made the travelers that visted Europe easier to travel because before thay had thay conference with the US who ever traveld to Europe had to stop at something like a check point and check ther ID and passport. They use to do that here to in the US but since Europe is part of the US now they can just travel.

the cuban missile crisis took place during the cold war it was fight with threts and words that went on for a while between russia and the united states and cuba it is describe as the hottest moment in the cold war because it was almost a nuclear holoucaust and the end of two countires. kenndy had qurintined cuba and had reconasonmissions to prevent war he also was on hij security alert finaly the soviets said if the u.s removed there wepons from turkey they will take there missles from cuba. then the cuban misslile crisis was over.

NATO was The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation formed on April 4, 1949, when twelve countries signed the North Atlantic Treaty. The twelve original NATO countries are Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Great britain, and the United states. the war saw pact was the answer to nato these pacts and treaty basicly stated if a countrty was to interfere or fight with them they would all have each others backs.

In the film night of fog it was much stronger than the other film i think beacause it was acttual events. also evrey one knew it was real for sure in night of fog when they showed the dead people being pushed by trrucks and dumped any kind away it was more extreame then schenlers list. i think there for the documentry illustrated more of the holucaust becasue it got right down to the detail of what happen. also the photge shot of the events was a eye opener than shenklers list.

"Schindler's List"

what schindler's list illustrated what people can do to each other also the genocide of a religion and destrution that can happen and what humans can do to each other. also the treat ment of the familys in the ghetto how 10 familys were crammed up in one 2 bed room apart ment. there are multiple scenes that will stay with me for ever. the top scene that will stay with me is when they took the kids and took them away tom be killed. also seeing the lil girl in the red dress dead, also when the kids had to hide in the laterines to keep away from the nazi officers. in my oppinon humans should not have to act or live like that and genocide should neaver take place like that agen. or like rahwanda.

I think that Rudyard Kipling meant that "the White Man's Burden" was to rule over land and encourage cultural development. As I read the analysis it seems that Kipling viewed non-European culture as childish and demonic. I agree that Kipling was trying to say that, but I think he's wrong in all aspects in thinking that non-European culture childish and demonic.
As years go by the U.S remains imperialistic till this day. A great example of the United States of America being imperialistic is the war going on in Iraq. The U.S wants to take over Iraq and make it a democracy while Iraq doesn't want to. Seeing the war thats going on it seems that even after 100 years, we are living "the White Man Burden".

The name that the Japanese gave to their land is Nihon their belief that all Japanese are descendents of the Sun Goddess. the Japanese have traditionally held themselves to be of a superior lineage than opposing cultures. Japan was not a modernize country at all it was very differnt from all the country's. It was country where people were living thier own life and and that had nothing with the industrial revolution and with other countries. Many countries offered them trading deal but they kept on denying them. But finally there came Matthew Perry he came to japan's shore with 4 ships. When japan saw the ships they were really scared because they saw all the guns and and rifles and cannons in the ship and than matthew made his offer for trade and they had no other choice but to except it. Japan knew they cant just live like thier old ways now this was the meiji restoratin of japan they were now becoming modern like other country's they knew if they want to survive they have to get modern live like apan transformed from an undeveloped third world nation into an advanced industrialized nation, with their eyes on imperialism, in the time span of one.

child labor during the idustrial revolution was harsh and unfair must of the times the kids would end up going to work early and leaveing late hours also maybe 6am to 8pm at times. the age that the kids would start working would be 5 years of age working wih big and dangrouse mechines would mostly likley cause injuries and may be somtime death. working these long hours would prevent the kids form seeing there familes. also not really having a child hood. also the children would be daprived of school and not be educated.

Charlie Chaplin's view about the industiral revolution was that he didnt like it he thought some of the things were unfair like in the film it showed the boss on the screen giving oreders and telling the mian guy to speed up the mechines forcing the workers to work harder and faster. also he saw it as unfair because the boss just wanted more work. when they bought the eating mechine he wanted wokers to eat. also when one of the workers became crazy that would be a a effect of all the work that took place in the factories.

Karl Marx was a man during the industrial revolution who thought the working wages and conditons was unfair he thought the treatment was unjust and some ajustments needed to made he argued how the workers other than landlords should control the factories because of unsafe conditons. Karl Marx idear was called Communism. this is when karl marx invited he did this by getting the workers on his side and forming cmmunism.
